Every tool runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install or update. Open a tool and you are already on the newest version. Prefer to read this as data? The same list is published at /updates.json.

Make the pen bigger or smaller

• NewMake the drawing tool bigger or smaller with the new Tool size slider, anywhere from 30% to 300%. You will find it in Design, under Drawing tool. It works for every tool, from the fountain pen to the glow dot, and your MP4 and GIF downloads show it at the same size.
• FixedAt some speeds the pen stayed on the last stroke after the signature was finished. It now lifts off and leaves the frame every time, in the preview and in the videos you download.

New: the Signature Animator

• NewUpload a photo of your signature, type a name or add your logo, and watch it write itself stroke by stroke like a real pen. It follows the centre line of every stroke, so real signatures and hand-lettered logos keep their thick and thin lines.
• NewChange the order and direction of any stroke, edit its points like the pen tool in Illustrator, and set the speed anywhere from 0.2x to 3x.
• NewPick a fountain pen, pencil, marker, brush, quill or chalk, one of six edge styles and your own background, then export an MP4 up to 4K or a GIF, with no watermark.

Every intro now has its own soundtrack

• NewEvery intro now comes with its own soundtrack: music picked for its style, with sound effects timed to what happens on screen, like the mouse click in Click to Shop and the pops in Blob Bloom. It is included in your MP4.
• NewThe Colours panel is now called Settings. Turn the sound off there, or upload your own music: it is cut to the exact length of the intro and never leaves your browser.
• NewA mute button next to play lets you preview the intro in silence.

5 new luxury intros with gold and silver particles

• New5 new luxury intros made with gold and silver particles. Gold: a vortex that spirals in and bursts into a ring of light, a halo drawn by a single spark, and a burst of gold smoke.
• NewSilver: two ribbons of light that clash in a flash, and luminous wisps that close into a ring and bloom as your logo appears. Every particle colour can be changed to match your brand.

17 new minimal intros with clean shapes and lines

• New17 new minimal intros in clean 2D. Shape transitions: sliding pills, stacked stripes, a card swipe, a circle bloom, a shape morph, a loading bar, gold rings, a diagonal split, a swoosh and a gold band, all in colours you can change.
• NewLine and spark accents: a star burst, a stream of chevrons, jet speed lines, gold diamond outlines, a ray pop and a dot pop, each timed to a calm logo reveal.

SVG Editor Pro, rebuilt: every part of your logo on a real timeline

• NewGrouped SVG files now split into separate parts, including clipping groups and compound shapes, so every piece of your logo can move on its own.
• NewA timeline that works like a video editor. Drag a layer to retime it, drag its ends to trim it, and Shift-click to move or reorder several layers at once.
• NewDraw and reveal effects: sketch, neon, marker, running light, wipes, iris and split reveals. Hover over an effect to preview it on your own logo.
• NewExport a Lottie JSON file for websites and apps, as well as MP4 in 1080p or 4K and animated GIF with a transparent background.
• ImprovedEvery frame is rendered one at a time, so exported videos no longer drop frames. The editor now works on phones and tablets too.

20 new intros with fire, lightning and anime energy

• New20 new intros. Fire: a rose of fire that opens on your logo, a fire whirl, a meteor strike, blaze slashes, a burning floor, a ring of fire your logo spins through, a fire sweep, and fire meets ice.
• NewLightning and anime energy: two bolts that clash in a white flash, a lightning burst, an X strike, an anime power-up, an anime rush with focus lines, and a nova blast.
• NewLight and colour: a silver spiral, a rainbow comet, a frame of light made for wide logos, a red comet, a colour storm and a star slash.

10 new intros with 3D flips, fire and fireworks

• New10 new intros. Fire: a flame spiral that whirls up like a tornado, a fire serpent, a flaming arrow and a red spiral burst. Light: a prism orbit, a colour vortex, an anime flash and candy swooshes. Plus fireworks and a Tesla coil spiral.
• NewYour logo can now move in real 3D. In Prism Orbit it tumbles in from far away and in Colour Vortex it flips over like a card, then both keep turning slowly while they hold. In Candy Swoosh it swings in like a door.
• NewParticle Assemble: in Fireworks your logo builds itself from little pieces of its own artwork that fly in and lock together.

33 new intros with neon, magic and cartoon fun

• New33 new intros. Neon: a sign that flickers on after rewind, pause and play icons, a laser show, retro spikes and an arcade flash. Magic: unicorn rainbow rings, stardust, a kaleidoscope, a dream drip and a puff of purple smoke.
• NewNature and play: a green flame, an aurora wave, fireflies, a leaf swirl and a petal burst, plus confetti, bubbles, a balloon pop, star splashes, a paint explosion and pop art bursts.
• NewMore energy: claw slashes, an ice blast, a fire portal, a spark ring, a blast off, a tech rune, atom orbits and an electric frame. For calmer brands there is a coffee swirl, a heart burst and ocean waves.

74 new intros with fire, lightning, neon and liquid

• New74 new intros in three new styles. Energy: lightning strikes, fire wings, a power core, warp speed and a magic rune portal. Liquid: paint waves that fill the screen with a gradient, splashes, ripples and a latte swirl. Cartoon: a comic book POW, theatre curtains, clouds, confetti and speed lines. Plus 20 more shape intros, including a chat bubble, a bar chart and a bullseye.
• NewNew logo animations to go with them. Your logo can slam down with a shake, charge up with electric arcs, burn in along a glowing edge, flash in white-hot, drip or splash in, warp in from hyperspace, fly together from shards, scan in like a hologram or fade in like smoke.
• ImprovedGlowing logo animations use a colour you can change, so the electric arcs, embers and scan lines match your brand.
• NewA timeline under the preview. Drag to any moment of the intro, see exactly where you are, and pause or play it with one tap.

32 new intros, and your logo now moves with them

• New32 new intros in three new styles: gradients (energy bursts, solar swirls, tunnels, glowing rings), clean minimal shapes, and more flat shape animations such as a camera aperture, a coffee drop and rising city towers.
• ImprovedYour logo now has its own animation that matches each intro: it drops and bounces, punches in, swirls, un-pixelates, pulls into focus, flickers on like a light, or opens through an iris, a hexagon or a star.
• ImprovedOnce your logo lands it holds steady, with a slow, subtle zoom or a single shine on some intros, so the finish looks calm and polished.
• ImprovedIntros now run from 4.5 to 8 seconds. The longer ones end with the shapes sweeping your logo away; the shorter ones end on your logo.

16 new flat shape intros

• NewSixteen new intros in a Flat shapes style: lightning bolts, hexagons, sunbursts, rising city towers, a talking mouth, rocket swooshes and more. Bold shapes sweep across the screen and reveal your logo, then sweep it away at the end.
• NewEvery shape colour in these intros can be changed, so the whole animation can match your brand, not just the background.
• ImprovedColour controls are now named after what they paint, such as Face, Lips and Mouth, instead of Part 1, 2 and 3.

New tool: Logo Intro Maker

• NewPut your logo into a ready-made intro. Pick a template from the gallery, upload your logo and it drops straight into the animation, with its entrance and exit already timed by our designers.
• NewMake it match your brand. Every colour in the template can be changed, including the glow on neon and outline effects, and the background can be a solid colour, a gradient or your own image.
• NewAdd a tagline under your logo. Pick one of 10 fonts or upload your own, then set the size, weight, letter spacing and position.
• NewExport an MP4 in 1080p or 4K, or a GIF, with no watermark. Each template shows its price in credits on its gallery card before you start.
• NewThe first intros are Shockwave Reveal and Rainbow Particle Sweep. More are being animated now and will appear in the gallery as they are finished.

Gradient logos keep their colours

• FixedLogos drawn with gradients now come in with their colours. Files exported from Illustrator often paint each shape with a gradient rather than a flat colour, and those used to load as a plain white logo with the right outline and nothing else. Each shape now takes the colour of its gradient.
• FixedThe reflection under your logo on the Mirror and Water floors now matches the logo itself. It used to break up into fragments as the logo turned, and turning the logo right round showed a blank shape instead of your artwork.

Cancel a render, keep your credits

• FixedCredits are only taken when your file is actually made. If you cancel a render, or it fails partway, you keep your credits. Before this the credit was taken the moment you pressed export, so a cancelled 4K render cost you the same as a finished one.

Multi-colour logos render clean

• FixedLogos built from several coloured shapes no longer shimmer or break up into speckles when they turn. It showed up most on badges and crests, where the lettering and the panels sit on top of one another, and it is gone now from every angle.
• FixedThe particle intros (Swarm, Streaks, Beads and Voxel) stay clean as the pieces land and form your logo, instead of flickering at the moment everything comes together.
• ImprovedYour logo holds its colour all the way round. As it turned away from the camera the faces used to fall into shadow, so a yellow went olive and a red went brown partway through the spin. The studio lighting now wraps the logo from the sides and below, so the colours stay true from every angle, and exported video gets exactly the same lighting as the preview.
• FixedCredits are only taken when your file is actually made. If you cancel a render, or it fails partway, you keep your credits. Before this the credit was taken the moment you pressed export, so a cancelled 4K render cost you the same as a finished one.

Smoother on every device, and your colours stay yours

• ImprovedMuch smoother preview on phones and older laptops. The editor now notices when your device is struggling and eases off automatically, so the picture stays fluid instead of stuttering. Nothing is lost: every animation, material and export is exactly as before.
• FixedThe stutter in the first few seconds after opening the tool is gone.
• FixedAuto animate no longer changes your material. It rolls the animation, lighting, floor, particles and background, and leaves your logo colours exactly as you set them.
• FixedUploading a logo, or generating 3D text, now always starts from your logo's own colours instead of keeping whatever the intro reel was showing.
• NewA Logo colors button beside Auto animate, to put your own colours back in one tap.
• ImprovedVideo export now renders at 30 fps. For a logo animation it looks the same as 60, and the file is about half the size and renders in about half the time.
• ImprovedClearer colour controls. Text face colour and Extrusion sides are now Face colour and Side colour, and the sides toggle reads Match front instead of Logo colours, which was confusing for 3D text.
• FixedThe face colour picker showed white while the text rendered in another colour, and white could not actually be chosen. It now shows the real colour, and white works.

4K export, custom backgrounds and smooth loops

• New4K video export at 3840 by 2160, or 2160 by 3840 for Reels and Shorts.
• NewCustom gradient backgrounds: two colours, any angle, linear or radial, and a slider for where the colours meet.
• NewUpload your own background image. It stays on your device and is cropped to fill the frame.
• NewTen solid and ten gradient background presets, plus a backdrop opacity control.
• NewA compact colour picker with an eyedropper and your recent colours, on every colour control.
• NewSmooth loop option, so an exported clip repeats without a visible jump.
• NewStart from the beginning option, so an effect exports from its first frame.
• FixedExports made with a gradient background came out with a plain black background instead.

4K export, custom backgrounds and instant controls

• New4K video export at 3840 by 2160, or 2160 by 3840 for Reels and Shorts.
• NewCustom gradient backgrounds: two colours, any angle, linear or radial, and a slider for where the colours meet.
• NewUpload your own background image. It stays on your device and is cropped to fill the frame.
• NewA compact colour picker with an eyedropper and your recent colours, on every colour control in the tool.
• NewTen solid and ten gradient background presets, plus a backdrop opacity control.
• ImprovedAnimations, materials, floors and particles all react the moment you tap them.
• ImprovedDefault loop length is now 8 seconds, so animations play closer to the speed they were designed at.

Seamless loop export

• NewSmooth loop option: fits a whole number of animation cycles into the length you choose, so the clip can be stacked end to end in an editor.
• NewStart from the beginning option, so an intro records its build instead of the hold.
• ImprovedSmoother exports: no dropped or stuttering frames, whatever computer you are on.
• FixedLoop exports jumped at the point where the clip repeated.

Intro animations and Light FX

• New30 intro animations that build the logo, including Shatter, Crystallise, Cube Build, Swarm, Streaks and Beads.
• NewLight FX: sweep, dual, beam and rainbow highlights that travel across the mark.
• ImprovedAnimations are split into Intro and Loop tabs so the two kinds are easier to find.
