How to Make a 3D Logo Animation (Free, No Software)

A flat logo says "we exist." A logo that turns in 3D, catches the light on a metallic edge and floats in space says "we're a serious brand." That kind of thing normally means Blender, Cinema 4D or a paid motion designer — hours of work and a steep learning curve.

It doesn't have to. Here's how to turn any logo (or plain text) into a polished 3D animation in a couple of minutes, free, right in your browser.

What the 3D Logo Animator does

Our 3D Logo Animator takes a 2D logo or a line of text and gives it real depth — extruding it into a solid 3D object you can spin, light and dress in dozens of materials. Everything renders live in the browser; nothing uploads to a server. The headline numbers: 40 animations and 45 materials, plus export to video or true 3D files.

Make one in four steps

  1. Add your logo or text. Upload a transparent PNG or SVG, or just type a word and it becomes 3D instantly. Adjust the depth and bevel to control how thick and how rounded the edges look.
  2. Pick a material. This is where it comes alive — gold, chrome, copper, rose gold, glass, diamond, ruby, emerald, marble, carbon, holographic, iridescent, neon and more. A gold or chrome finish reads as premium; glass and holo feel modern and techy.
  3. Choose an animation. Forty of them, from clean rotations (Rotate Y, Spin All, Coin Flip) to physics-y moves (Bounce, Jelly, Wobble) to camera moves (Orbit, Dolly, Crane) and dramatic reveals (Assemble, Explode, Cascade).
  4. Light it and export. Set the lighting and background, then export a seamless 1080p loop — transparent WebM or green-screen MP4 — or the 3D model itself as GLB or STL.

Video or 3D file? Pick the right export

Exporting for a video or website? Use WebM or MP4. Building in a game engine or 3D printing? Use GLB or STL.

For most people the answer is video. The tool gives you a transparent WebM (real alpha channel — drops straight onto any background in Premiere, DaVinci, CapCut or OBS) and a green-screen MP4 for editors that can't read WebM alpha, since MP4 can't store transparency.

But you can also export the actual 3D object: GLB for game engines, AR and web-3D, or STL for 3D printing your logo as a physical object. Need a GIF for an email signature or chat app instead? Export the video and run it through our free GIF Compressor.

Wrap-up

3D logo animation used to be gatekept behind expensive software and a real learning curve. Now it's type or upload, pick a material, choose a motion, and export — free, in the browser, no watermark. Keep the shape bold and the motion calm, and it'll look like it cost far more than it did.
