Why use this tool
A transparent logo is the master file every brand asset starts from: it drops onto any background, composites into videos, and is the format print shops, web developers and — yes — logo animators actually ask for. But most people only have the JPG from an old email, logo baked onto white. This tool keys that background out properly, with the two controls that matter: tolerance (because compressed images are never perfectly one color) and connected-only removal (because the counter of a letter "o" should stay white while the background goes).

Frequently asked questions
Does this work on photos or complex backgrounds?
It is built for logos on solid or near-solid backgrounds, which it handles extremely well. Busy photographic backgrounds need AI segmentation — for those cases, our design team can prepare your logo as part of a custom order.
Why is there a white halo around my logo?
That is JPG compression noise at the edge. Raise the tolerance slightly and add 1–2px of edge softening — the halo melts away.
Will the white inside my logo disappear too?
Not with "Connected only" enabled (the default): only background pixels physically connected to the edges are removed, so enclosed white areas like letter counters are protected. Untick it if you want every matching pixel gone.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No — the whole process runs in your browser with the canvas API. Nothing is sent to any server.
What resolution is the download?
Your original resolution up to 2200px on the longest side; larger images are scaled to that cap so processing stays instant.
